[Diferenças Brasil e Alemanha]: Atravessando a rua / Crossing the street (2)

Uma coisa que achei curiosa na Alemanha é na hora de atravessar a rua.

Posso dizer que é um desafio para a paciência, pois quando se tem um semáforo, não importa se é uma rua calma, se é final de semana ou mesmo se não está passando carros, os alemães não atravessam a rua enquanto o sinal não ficar verde para os pedestres!!! Todos fazem isso, não importa o tempo que eles tenham que esperar.

É claro, para um brasileiro isso é torturante, já que eu nunca tive que esperar o sinal ficar verde para atravessar, apenas quando fosse muito necessário, como em uma avenida movimentada.

Bitte drücken: por favor, pressione (ou aperte). Em alguns lugares tem que pressionar esse botão para poder atravessar, como no Brasil. Se olharem no canto, tem um carro parado, pois está sinal vermelho para ele, mas eu não posso atravessar mesmo assim. Odeio isso uahhuahu

Não cheguei a confirmar essa informação, mas dizem que se a polícia te ver atravessando a rua no sinal vermelho, eles podem aplicar uma multa. Se isso não acontecer, no mínimo algumas pessoas te olharão com uma cara de poucos amigos.

Assim, brasileiros que querem vir para Alemanha, estejam preparados para esperar na hora de atravessar avenidas e ruas. Ou simplesmente evitem atravessar onde tem semáforos XD

One thing called to my attention is when I have to cross a street in Germany.

I can say it is a challenge for the patience, because when there is a traffic light, it doesn't matter if the street is quiet, if it is a weekend or even if there aren't cars in the street, German people aren't going to cross the street if pedestrian light is red. Everybody waits, it doesn't matter how long is needed.

Of course, for a Brazilian it is really annoying, since I have never had to wait the green pedestrian light to cross the street, just when it was necessary, like in a busy avenue 

Bitte drücken: please, press. If you look in the edge, there is a car waiting for the the green light and even so I can't cross the street. I hate it auhauhuha 

I didn't confirm the information, but someone told me if police see you crossing the street when pedestrian light is red, they can fine you for it. If it doesn't happen, at least someone will look to you in an unfriendly way.

So, Brazilians that wants to come to Germany, be prepared to wait when you have to cross avenues and streets. Or simply you can avoid places with traffic lights XD
