Meu primeiro post / My first post

Olá
Meu nome é Paulo, faço Engenharia de Materiais na Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar) e atualmente estou fazendo um estágio em Bayreuth, na Alemanha.

Sempre quis escrever em um blog e falar sobre muitas coisas. Então estou aproveitando essa oportunidade e vou começar um blog para falar um pouco da vida aqui na cidade, além de escrever também algumas impressões, curiosidades e pensamentos. Um outro objetivo que tenho é dar algumas dicas para pessoas que forem viajar para Alemanha em um futuro próximo ^^.
Quando possível, escreverei o post também em inglês, para praticar um pouco a parte escrita. Espero conseguir manter isso hehe E não farei uma tradução exata do que está escrito em português, mas tentarei manter o mais próximo possível.

Se alguém encontrar algum erro ou  tiver alguma sugestão para melhorar o texto, é só falar ^^ 

Então, vamos juntos nessa viagem?
Já estou aqui a três semanas e muita coisa para contar, mas gostaria primeiro de falar dos dias que antecederam a viagem.

Foram bem movimentados esses dias. Uma visita a Aparecida, pude apresentar com o Kaizen, participar de um evento do Seinen Sanca (Integra Nipo), conversar e me despedir dos meus parentes e reencontrar alguns amigos que fazia tempo que não via. Não deu para falar com todo mundo, mas fiz o possível para que isso acontecesse.

Foi muito bom passar esse tempo com as pessoas que me fazem sentir tão bem: pais, amigos, família... Eu não tenho fotos de todos esses momentos, mas tenho certeza que não precisa, porque está tudo na minha memória. Cada conversa, cada abraço e cada desejo de "Boa Viagem". Esses dias me fizeram perceber que mesmo com a distância e o tempo, terei pessoas que com certeza estarão esperando por mim no Brasil ^^

Muito obrigado por terem feito esses dias tão bons.

My name is Paulo, I study Materials Engineering in the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) and now I am doing an internship in Bayreuth, Germany.

I always wanted to write in a blog and talk about many things. Then, I will take the oportunity and start a blog to tell about my life in the town and also write some feelings, curiosities and thoughts. Another goal is to give some tips for people that intend to travel to Germany in a near future ^^.
When possible I'm going to write my posts in English too, because I want to practice my writing skills. I hope I can keep it heheh. And I won't translate exactly what is written in Portuguese, but I will try to keep almost the original text.

If I make mistakes or you have some suggestions to improve my texts, you can write in the commentaries.

So, let's go together in this trip?
I have been here for three weeks and many things to tell, but first I would like to talk about the days before the trip.

These were really busy days. I went to Aparecida (SP), I could present with Kaizen*, participate in a Seinen Sanca’s** event (Integra Nipo***), talk and say goodbye to my relatives and meet with some friends that I haven’t been seeing for a long time. I couldn’t talk to everybody, but I did everything it was possible.

It was amazing stay with people that make me feel really well: parents, friends, family... I didn't take photo of all these moments, but I am sure that it isn't necessary because everything is in my mind. Each talk, hug and wishing "have a nice trip". I could realize in these days even with the distance and the time, I am sure that there are people that will wait for me in Brazil.

*Kaizen: The words means “continuous improvement”, in the other words, you have to improve day by day. Today better than yesterday, tomorrow better than today. And this is the name of the Yosakoi Soran group that I am part of. Yosakoi Soran is a Japanese Cultural Dance that makes the movements of Japanese fishers. **Seinen or Seinenkai: Seinen means “young people” and kai means “group”. Seinen Sanca is a  young people group from the Japanese Cultural Association of São Carlos (ACENB) that I am part of too. We do some cultural and social activities and we help in the ACENB’s events.

***Integra Nipo: It is an event organized by Seinen Sanca. The main goal is to welcome people that are arriving in São Carlos to study in one of the universities: USP and UFSCar. Beside this, it is a good opportunity to present all groups of ACENB.
